Happy Wheels cart makes first trip through hospital

The Happy Wheels Hospitality Cart was recently introduced by the Health Essentials Resource (HER) Committee at the December General Membership Meeting.

Volunteers took the cart on its inaugural trip down the halls of Our Lady of Lourdes Women's & Children's Hospital this past week, distributing snacks, refreshments, activities, toiletries, and other essential items to patients and families of patients who can't leave the patient's beside.

Happy Wheels is directly related to Junior League of Lafayette’s Mission through its collaboration with Ronald McDonald House Family Room and Our Lady of Lourdes Women's & Children's Hospital to positively impact women and children in our community.
