Earlier this month, Junior League of Lafayette Headquarters was the site of the annual Super Saturday, welcoming 25 members of the 2025-2026 Provisional Class for a day of connection, community, and inspiration.

The theme of the day was "Lit" with Purpose.  Provisionals were introduced to the League’s Mission, history and overall impact in Lafayette and the surrounding areas, while also preparing for their journey ahead.

Highlights of the day included words of wisdom from past presidents, a panel of first-year Actives sharing their provisional experiences, and meaningful conversations with the Board of Directors, Management Team, and Sustainers over lunch.

Provisionals also gained a deeper understanding of how Junior League of Lafayette operates, learning about its councils, resources, and opportunities to serve. Team-building activities—including bracelet making— and shared stories reinforced the message that the League is not only a place to give back but also a community that develops women as leaders in all areas of life.

The day left participants inspired, energized, and ready to carry the flame of service into the League year.

“Super Saturday was the perfect way to welcome our new Provisional Class,” said Ayesha Martin, Provisional Chair. “It gave them the chance to connect and learn about the impact they can make through Junior League of Lafayette.”

Together, Junior League of Lafayette looks forward to being the collective spark that inspires action and ignites change.
